John F. Kennedy International Airport

The Port Authority of New York & New Jersey has accepted a grant under the American Recovery & Reinvestment Act (ARRA) of 2009. This funding will be administered by the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) through the Airport Improvement Program (AIP). This grant is for $14,999,024, and it will be used to help fund a $296,300,000 Runway 13R-31L Rehabilitation project at John F. Kennedy International Airport.

Airport Sponsor Certification

Grant: Rehabilitate and widen a portion of Runway 13R-31L.

Total Project Cost: $296,300,000
Total ARRA Funding: $15,000,000

Pursuant to Section 1511 of the ARRA, the Executive Director of the Port Authority has made the required certifications to the FAA involving the use of this grant.

Teterboro Airport

The Port Authority of New York & New Jersey has accepted a grant under the American Recovery & Reinvestment Act (ARRA) of 2009. This funding will be administered by the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) through the Airport Improvement Program (AIP). This grant is for $4,796,813 and it will be used to help fund an $11,987,000 paving project related to the Rehabilitation of Runway 6-24 at Teterboro Airport.
